About us

The KIMI RACING brand was founded in 2009 by visionary automotive parts designer Sam Kang. Initially focused on comprehensive automotive services, the company gradually expanded into vehicle modification and restoration, eventually building race cars for local competitions. Over time, the brand grew, designing and producing an increasing number of automotive parts.

The first part designed by KIMI RACING was the set of four metal spherical rod end control arms for the rear suspension of the MINI R53. At the time, due to the high cost of parts from other brands and limited resources, Sam Kang built his own MINI R53 for racing. During the chassis upgrade process, he designed this rod and later upgraded it to the third version. This rod is not only aesthetically pleasing but also features a hexagonal adjustment point that makes installation and alignment easier for mechanics. As the brand evolved, more parts related to the MINI were designed and produced.
